Over the last month we have seen some big changes at Able and Game HQ. Firstly we shifted into a new office on the other side of the city. The pic on the left is the view from our new office and is much nicer than the old view we had - a petrol station.
Obviously moving is so much fun and because we are gluttons for punishment we moved house the following week. We think a "thanks for cleaning the oven card" might be in order as we discovered, it is a filthy job that deserves many thanks!
We were growing a little weary of working from home and we look forward to having a house that doesn't look like a messy warehouse. We ended up pretty lucky with the office location, it is just a few hundred meters down the road from the new house, so we can still run home if we get homesick.
We are now located in Brunswick, our old stamping ground back in 2005. If you live in the area and have any suggestions for good places to eat, drink and be merry let us know, we would love to hear them!

About two years ago I went and saw TZU play at the Prince Bandroom with my friend Hollie. They announced they were having a wee break as members of the band were going overseas. The other day Computer Love came onto my music player and I had forgotten all about how great that album is. I'm hoping that after two years they are about to release another album and maybe another tour. Two years is plenty of time for an overseas trip! |

So we have moved to the other side of town and our local bottleshop is a Black Hearts and Sparrows. We have already had a few lovely bottles of wine and some well earned beer after shifting house. We recommend Little Creatures, drink it in the early evening and pretend it is a little warmer than it really is. Oh Melbourne, where did the summer go?? |

It seems everyone has been talking about Portlandia, but you know why? Because it is a pretty good show. I love the title sequence, I like mayor, I like that the '90s are alive in Portland and I love that Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation) is also in it a little. We should also mention Gareth's newfound addiction to the Eastenders Omnibus. He is happy as larry sat folding cards and watching Dot, Kat, Alfie and Phil drink cups of brew. |
