| What do you sell in your shop? Handcrafted pottery made mostly by me, and a collective of homewares and objects by about 30 other local craftsmen and designers What is a great place to go to eat in the area? Mart (cafe at the Middle Park Tram stop) for breakfast or lunch, Lau's Kitchen for dinner (The Prince complex in St Kilda). Best thing about running a shop? It's great having a space when I can test out ideas and projects. I also love sourcing interesting objects for the home and being able to connect with my community and other creative small businesses through my studio. When I was starting out I remember how hard it was to get my product out in the market place, so I love assisting other crafts people an opportunity to sell their wares. |

When I was a little kid I had the biggest crush on Kimmy Gibbler from Full House. All my friend's loved DJ, but Kimmy was for me! I had forgotten about her until I found this photo of me with a poster I got for my 13th birthday.
Thanks to the wonders of the internet, we can watch Kimmy in all her glory on the youtubes. If I ever make a Synth-Pop band I'm calling it Kimmy Gibbler and the New Romantics or Kimmy and the Gibblers.
